Dear PDMA Members and Colleagues:
Our thoughts are with you as we all work through the current public health crisis.
Our staff and volunteer leaders are trained and equipped to conduct their PDMA work remotely as many of us do every day. This includes teams using video meetings, emails, texts, kHUB, and various other communication and collaboration platforms.
The PDMA offices are open and staffed with a limited number of team members who are respecting CDC guidelines for hygiene and separation. We are receiving mail, deliveries and tending to office tasks. Other staff are working remotely having access to files via our secure servers and our VOIP phone system as if they were at their office desks.
As of now, we are still planning to hold the PDMA Annual Conference September 19-22 in New Orleans though, this is a dynamic situation. We are monitoring developments carefully and will let all our contacts know immediately should our plans change. PDMA Chapters are also monitoring the situation and making appropriate decisions about their events.
Again, our thoughts are with you and we are hopeful for the best outcome and quick end to this pandemic.
