Virtual Meetings & Webcasts PDMA Webcasts are online events that provide premium content for product development and management professionals who need access to emerging information from experts on a variety of new product development topics. Featured presenters include academics, authors, practitioners, and service providers. Unlike on-site meetings, webcasts help attendees to solve new product development challenges and to participate with peers without incurring travel-related costs. Webcasts are produced as live events at scheduled times and are recorded for content review. They are also available for on-demand viewing. During a webcast, presenters and attendees interact through questions and answers, online polls, and online chat. After the event presenters and attendees may interact through e-mail and discussion groups. *Attending a PDMA webcast earns one professional development credit for NPDP certified attendees. "I think what made the webcast go so smoothly was the support we received from the folks at the PDMA. While I was speaking, three individuals from the PDMA were working hard behind the scenes to organize questions from the audience and relay them to me, to queue up the next interactive audience poll, and assure a smooth transition between webcast segments. Together, we produced what I'm told was the highest-rated webcast in PDMA history. I really appreciate all the hard work that the PDMA put into our webcast and look forward to hopefully doing more in the future." |
