The number of companies that use additive manufacturing, also known as 3D printing is growing rapidly and the industry itself continues to evolve. As companies are bringing their product ideas to life faster, printers continue to get better, quality continues to improve, and the possibility of using a wider range of materials is on the horizon. But what does this mean for the future?

Join us on August 22nd for an inspiring panel discussion where industry experts from Arconic, CMU, Covestro, and GE will discuss their work and their visions of the future for Additive Manufacturing/3D printing.

    Panelists

Dr. Kevin Creehan, Business Development Manager at Arconic
Areas of expertise: Creating new revenue streams from current and emerging additive manufacturing technologies.

Dr. Jack Beuth, Professor, Mechanical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University
Areas of expertise: Solid mechanics and manufacturing, including the Mechanics of Electron and Laser Beam-Based Additive Manufacturing Processes.

Dan Pothala, Business Development & Partnering Manager for Additive Manufacturing at Covestro
Areas of expertise: Developing and executing 3D printing business strategies and building an ecosystem of 3D printing partners

    About the Panelists

Dr. Kevin Creehan, Business Development Manager, Arconic
Kevin focuses primarily on creating significant new revenue streams from current and emerging additive manufacturing technologies, sourced from both within Arconic and third party partnerships.

Dr. Jack Beuth, Professor, Mechanical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University.
Jack's research interests are in the area of solid mechanics and manufacturing. One area currently being investigated relates to Mechanics of Electron and Laser Beam-Based Additive Manufacturing Processes. These processes offer an alternative means for fabricating metal parts for the aerospace and medical implant industries.

Dan Pothala, Business Development & Partnering Manager, Covestro.
Dan is responsible for building an ecosystem of partners across the 3D printing industry, including 3D printer companies, software developers, and manufacturers/brands seeking to implement 3D printing for production. He specializes in driving projects to commercialize the use of Covestro materials in 3D printing for industries such as footwear, automotive, and medical. Dan also develops and executes business strategies.

Dr. Kirk Rogers, Technology Leader, Additive Manufacturing, GE Center For Additive Technology Advancement
Kirk uses additive technology to solve manufacturing & supply chain problems since 2010. ·
