PDMA Academic Membership
Be a building block in the foundation of thought leadership for the industry
You are passionate about innovation research, moving the field forward and generating knowledge.
Be a building block in the foundation of thought leadership for the industry when you join PDMA as an academic member. PDMA offers Academic Membership to those who are employed full-time with an academic appointment as a professor, research specialist, department head, director or dean of a college, university or other academic institution with an educational responsibility including new product development, innovation or other related fields or subjects.
You will get access to fellow product development and management academics in the university space, the latest academic research with a subscription to the Journal of Product Innovation Management and the opportunity to present - and get feedback on - your latest theories, empirical findings and conceptual frameworks at the PDMA Research Forum. Relevant and robust research can cross into practice via PDMA's integrated membership.
Consider starting a PDMA student chapter at your university and you also get everything you need to prepare your students for a career in product development and management.
To begin the membership application process, you will first need to identify if you are based in the United States or internationally.
