    Five Google Product Mangers will participate in a panel discussion on diverse aspects of product management.  The discussion will shed some light on Google’s unique approach to such questions as:

    • Leadership
    • Vision and Mission
    • Attitudes towards failure
    • Innovation
    • Idea generation
    • Data driven versus intuitive decision making
    • Product Management structures and processes

     

    Learning Objectives

    • Learn how a company with one of the worlds most valuable brands organizes product management
    • Appreciate the role that leadership and vision/mission play in the success of projects and the company as a whole
    • Discover how the company attitude towards failure fosters freedom to explore
    • Recognize a mindset that demonstrates willingness to entertain what sounds crazy, ventures just beyond the zone of reasonable yet keeps one hand on the tether of the possible
    • Understand how intuition is not supplanted but supported and validated with exhaustive data
