If You Are NOT a Current PDMA Member: You must first REGISTER WITH THE JOB BANK before you can post jobs. Then, you will be permitted to post jobs, for a fee of $125 per position. If you wish to post more than ten jobs, the fee is $100 (for each position after the first ten). Postings remain up for a 52-day period. A posting may be renewed for $75 for an additional 45-day posting.
Click here to REGISTER WITH THE JOB BANK (required for non-PDMA Members only)
2. VIEW YOUR ACCOUNT. This will show you:
How many Posting Credits you currently have. This is the number of positions you may post before needing to purchase more credits. If you need to purchase more credits, click on the "Purchase Job Bank Credits" button.
All of the Postings that you have made and which are on display in the Job Bank. If you wish to remove a posting (e.g., because you have filled the position),click the update button for the posting and click the "Do Not Display Posting" box and hit the Update Job button. NOTE: You do not receive a refund in Job Posting credits if you do this. Only do this if you no longer wish to have that position posted on the PDMA Job Bank, e.g. because you have filled that position.
3. POST A JOB. Assuming you have at least one Job Posting Credit, you may post a position in the Job Bank. Please note the following important details:
- Abbreviated Position name. This can be a maximum of just 20 characters, including spaces, e.g., VP of R&D; Product Manager; Mkt Research Dir; Chemical Engineer; Software Programmer; etc. This will be how the position appears when viewers are browsing the lists of jobs, so it's very important that it be descriptive. (Viewers will also see the type of industry, the location, and the company name if provided.) If they click on a listing, they will see the full set of information about that job.
- Company Name is an optional field, but obviously is helpful for job seekers to know.
- Location (City, State, Country) and Type of Industry are required fields.
- Salary Range is a required field. HOWEVER, you may choose NOT to have that information posted in the job posting itself. (PDMA wishes to gather this information in the aggregate for a possible future Salary Survey report. If you do not want the information posted on the site, it will be kept strictly confidential and never revealed. If the salary is not determined, please provide your best estimate of the range.)
- Include Contact Information at the bottom of the form, for interested candidates to respond to.
4. RENEW A JOB ALREADY POSTED.
If you wish to renew a posting for another 45-day period, you can do so for $75. Login to the PDMA Website. It will show you all of the jobs you have posted that are current in the job bank. Click the checkbox next to those positions you wish to renew and click the "RENEW" button. This will take you to a screen where you may enter a credit card number to pay for this renewal.
