"Any damn fool can put on a deal, but it takes genius, faith and perseverance to create a brand." - David Ogilvy
Most people equate branding with logos and slogans. But it’s much more.
'A great brand taps into emotions. Emotions drive most, if not all, of our decisions. A brand reaches out with a powerful connecting experience. It's an emotional connecting point that transcends the product.' - Scott Bedbury/Nike, Starbucks
In cooperation with the Corporate Training Center at Hillsborough Community College, the Tampa Bay PDMA chapter presents an exciting day examining branding – what it is, what it isn’t, how it’s done, and how it impacts your company. You’ll hear presentations by branding leaders on different methods and processes that you can use to energize your own brand.
A lady, sitting next to Raymond Loewy at dinner, struck up a conversation.
'Why', she asked 'did you put two Xs in Exxon?'
'Why ask?' he asked
'Because', she said, 'I couldn't help noticing?'
'Well', he responded, 'that's the answer.'
