Even when the corporate strategy is well articulated, executives and planning stakeholders view business opportunities through different tactical lenses. One of marketing's key responsibilities is converging disparate internal and external views. Exposing tactical disconnects requires a forcing function.
Context Marketing is a schema of operating principals, linkages and visualization models that flush out and resolve internal and external misalignments among executives and planning stakeholders. A workflow example in project portfolio planning using two real-time visualization models will be presented. The two models work interactively, recursively and in parallel forcing diverse stakeholders to actively engage, share their tactical assumptions, understand tradeoffs and emerge with a consensus.
