Where is the future?
Simple question, many answers. While no one can truly predict the future (including you Mr. Nostradamus), there are ways one can determine likely future scenarios based on an in-depth understanding of trends and clear understanding of technology in a society.
This seminar will cover the fundamental definitions, understanding, and dynamics of technology from several perspectives, including science, engineering, and society. We will survey several advanced tools for "futuring" and the analysis and forecasting of technology and developing R&D strategies aligned with overall organizational goals.
