Xerox Named 2016 Outstanding Corporate Innovator (OCI) Winner
CHICAGO – The Product Development and Management Association (PDMA), the premier global advocate for product development and management professionals for forty years, today announced that the Services Division of Xerox is the recipient of the 2016 Outstanding Corporate Innovator (OCI) Award.
Since 2010, the Services Division of Xerox has created a culture of innovation which demonstrates relentless customer focus. Xerox seamlessly integrates automation, analytics and personalization to provide innovative capabilities for its customers spanning multiple sectors and industries. During the past six years, Xerox has launched numerous unique new services in the transportation, healthcare and customer care industries.
The OCI Award is the only innovation award which recognizes sustained (five or more years) and quantifiable business results from new products and services. Including Xerox Services, there have been 53 organizations granted the OCI Award over the course of its 29-year history. Past winners include BMW, Clorox, Corning, Dow Chemical, Marriott and Novozymes. A number of these past winners are on the agenda at the 2016 PDMA Annual Conference in Atlanta this October.
“The OCI Committee also recognized Xerox Services Division’s learning culture and the innovative use of lean development practices, disciplined portfolio management and platform innovation,” said Suzanne Thompson, Chair of PDMA’s OCI Selection Committee and Vice President R&D for Diversey Care at Sealed Air.
“We work closely with our clients to help transform their businesses so they can serve their customers,” said RG Conlee, Chief Innovation Officer for Xerox’s Services Division. “With the use of analytics we can introduce automation and robotic processes previously unheard of within an industry – unlocking the power of data and information.”
The OCI Award will be presented to Xerox Services Division at the 2016 PDMA Annual Conference, Oct. 16-19, 2016 in Atlanta, GA. Xerox will also host an education session to share their processes for achieving their sustained innovation success.
In addition to the 2016 OCI Award, PDMA also recognizes Bemis and Snap-on Tools as OCI finalists and Junlebao Dairy Company with a Special Commendation award for their innovative initiatives and success.
